Iduna Nordik Spa

For another project in my graphic design class, we were asked to create a brand identity for a Nordic spa. We had the choice to name it either Idunn or Iduna—both names come from a Norse goddess associated with youth and renewal. I went with Idunn and built the brand around that theme of feeling refreshed, pampered, and majestic.

I started by developing the logo, drawing inspiration from old Norse symbols and nature elements. I ended up focusing on different poses of doves and experimenting with the shape of one juxtaposed on blue. My teacher suggested I draw by hand the wavy lines that cut through the deep blue gradient of the background.

Along with the logo, I designed a set of stationery and created mockups for things like spa products, signage, and merch. Everything was meant to feel uncomplicated and relaxing, yet high-end.

This project was a fun mix of storytelling and design, and it gave me the chance to play with mood, culture, and experience through visuals.
